SAFE START 2025
As we approach the Christmas break and prepare for the New Year, Timberlands have previously required a Safe Start Plan. This year to aid in this process we’ve developed a Safe Stop and Safe Start checklist. Please ensure they are completed thoroughly, include any additional relevant information/documentation and return checklists to your Contract Manager or via email Safety@tll.co.nz by specified dates below:
Safe Start Breakfast
Instead of hosting a company-wide Safe Start Breakfast in 2025, our staff will make every effort to attend your company or crew’s Safe Start Breakfast in person. As you know we do not have enough staff to cover all contractors so we will prioritise our staff attendance according to risk profile (i.e steep country, Whaka Forest operations, manual felling, etc). To support this change, we’re pleased to offer a $15 per person contribution toward your crew’s breakfast, allowing everyone to start the year safely while enjoying a shared meal.
Please complete the Company Safe Start Breakfast form and return to Safety@tll.co.nz asap.
